Appointment of Regional Head of Tax from BDO Egypt

In light of the growing structure of BDO International network, and in presence of the regional structures, our BDO Global Head of Tax, Mr. Edward Hooey had lately announced in BDO International’s Annual Conference that was held in Berlin between 18-21 October 2009, the appointment of Regional Heads of Tax for the various regions throughout the network. The appointed regional head of tax for the Middle East is Mr. Mohanad T. Khaled (Partner in BDO Egypt) who happened to be the very first nominee to accept such role in the network.

Mr. Khaled said, “it gives me great pleasure to be nominated for such a position, knowing that this may serve as a contribution to the growth and success of the BDO International Network at large. I will be more than happy to communicate with my fellow International Tax Coordinators (ITCs) throughout the region, with the objective of sharing tax knowledge and trying to ensure a consistent level of quality in the services provided to BDO clients worldwide.”
